In the Johor Bahru district... Stulang beach is quite synonymous for the residents of this district besides Lido Beach.
There are small pickup truck hawkers of food and beverages for visitors to dine around this beach area.
As a beach facing the Tebrau Strait or a few of Singaporeans call it the Straits of Johor... surely industrialization and urbanization in two areas namely south Johor Bahru and northern Singapore affect the pollution of the straits.
This strait area is not only polluted and dirty but also narrowing due to reclamation work in both countries, namely Malaysia and Singapore.
This beach have great potential to be the main family recreation center in this district and it is a great loss if the treasures of this natural beauty are wasted.
In the opinion of the author of this blog... efforts to restore and clean up this coastal area should be mobilized so that this coastal area does not become a fold of history in the future where no one can enter this coastal area due to pollution of the beach which is increasingly worrying.
The most important initial step that needs to be taken in starting the process of rehabilitation of this Stulang beach is definitely to clean this beach from all the rubbish in the beach area.
I hope the natural sustainability of this beach can be realized one day in the future in line with the development near this beach.
